Having lived in Albuquerque for nearly ten years, I have come to love the rustic culture of the great southwest. But a little more than a year ago, we left that fascinating (and sometimes quirky) state and headed home to family and business in the big state of Texas. When a friend from Albuquerque wrote to ask about our new wedding venue, I thought she had missed the fact that we no longer lived there. I reminder her that we had moved away from “The Land of Enchantment” and our venue actually set on twenty-seven gorgeous acres in the heart of Texas, not New Mexico. Imagine my delight when she emailed right back and said, “I AM IN TEXAS!” Danielle had moved to Fort Worth and had recently gotten engaged.
And Danielle wanted to bring a touch of her New Mexico roots to our charming Texas farm.
I was beyond excited.
Danielle picked the perfect month and day for her southwest wedding: October 3, 2015. The weather was glorious, the skies big and blue, and the bride, well she was beautiful.
Take a look at Michael and Danielle’s Southwest Fusion wedding. I loved it!
